First Look: Oxygen
Last week, we headed into LA to do the final listen of our upcoming album, Oxygen, before it's released into the world.
We wrote the first song on the album almost exactly three years ago, and spent the bulk of last year recording, finessing, and having fun capturing all of these musical ideas into something we could have only dreamed about years ago.
This album features many of our friends (on...brass instruments???), some wild key changes, and melodies that we love getting stuck in our heads. There's even an appearance by Dean Dinning from Toad the Wet Sprocket! Funny how all of these things come together in the most amazing way.
Perhaps most excitingly, this album will have a visual component. Music videos...but really, what even is a music video these days? All in all, we were thinking of you throughout the entire recording process, and honestly just want to give you something that's meaningful, entertaining, and silly at times - and always from the heart.
Here is a first look at some frames from the upcoming music video for "Oxygen", which will be the first to be released with the album announcement.
