Finishing the record
It’s been a haze over the course of these last 8 months.
Through a combination of luck, good timing, and above all, friendship, we were offered the opportunity to work with the team of a lifetime for our upcoming record.
Our friend Nitanee, who some of you know, has been a longtime creative partner with Ken Caillat, who is best known for producing many of Fleetwood Mac and Joni Mitchell's works, as well as the music for his daughter, Colbie. They oversaw the production process as we worked closely with Claus, Ken's go-to engineer and just an amazing teammate in the album creation process. There’s a reason why he and Ken have been one of the most iconic production teams for the better part of the last three decades, and it’s still unbelievable that we get to be a part of their legacy.
This team went from producing Joni’s historic "Live From Newport" album to…us. It truly makes a difference when you work together with people you love. The songs come alive when you’re having fun. We started tracking at the beginning of this year, and just earlier this month put the final touches onto this album.This album might just be about 40 minutes of music, but we hope those 40 minutes will transform you and inspire you to bring hope to the world, in your own unique way, because really that would be amazing. Thanks for this beautiful journey.
