Emmys
We did not receive an Emmy nomination this season, but are so incredibly grateful for the stories we heard, the adventures we had, and the healing that happened as we made each episode of “Will Play For Food: Season 2”. Thank you Hawaii News Now, K5 Hawaii, and Katie Pickman for taking a chance on this show, and especially to Christine Yasuma, who guided us the whole way through the broadcast!
This selfie was taken in the middle of a nearly 40-hour stretch in which we played a house concert in Seattle, took the ferry to Whidbey Island, played the Oak Harbor Music Festival, took the ferry back, got on a train to the airport, flew to Detroit, drove four hours up a mountain and played Strings In the Sky at Boyne Mountain (thanks Kevin!) before finally knocking out in a hotel room somewhere in the middle of Michigan, all while filming Episode 8 of this season. Worth it? I don’t know. But it’s definitely a story to tell.

Who knew that this band would ever get the opportunity to make an actual TV show. Proud of the work we’ve done. Lucky to have each other.
